Used to be a typical high risk house with plaster cladding, through massive renovation, a brand new like house is standing out from its peers in Takapuna.
The cladding has been changed to the weather board; all joinery has been upgrade to aluminium system with double-glazing; the roof tiles were reconditioned and the house was fully insulated. We also demolished the balcony that had high leakage risk, enlarged the indoor area by extending the window outwards.
A new deck has been built and the fence was replaced and extended to make the garden area more spacious. An aluminum gate and a CCTV system have been installed, making the house more secure and private. After renovation, the house has eliminated all leakage risks and the value of the property has appreciated by more than 50%. |
